Self-Drive Questions
What do I need to rent a self-drive car?
A valid driving licence for the class of vehicle, genuine and accurate ID documents, and the security deposit for the car you choose. The vehicle may only be driven by the person(s) authorised in the booking.
How long can I rent for?
Hourly, daily or as a package — an evening in the city, a weekend in Mandu, or a month while your own car is away. Longer periods are quoted as a lease.
Is there a km limit?
Yes, a km allowance is agreed with the booking and extra kilometres are charged at the rate stated. Long trips are fine — tell us the plan and we set the allowance to match.
What about fuel?
The car goes out at a recorded fuel level and comes back at the same level; any shortage is charged. Toll, parking and state taxes on your route are yours.
What is the security deposit?
A refundable amount that depends on the vehicle. It is adjusted only against legitimate dues — damage, fuel shortage, fines, extra usage — and the balance is refunded after inspection.
What if I want to extend?
Ask before the original return time and we approve it if the car is free. Keeping the car without approval is treated as unauthorised use under our terms.
